With Summer coming soon to an end, I’m finding many families who are heading out before school heads back and wishing to seek out family adventures with their children.  And as much as we look forward to the happy parts of travel (beaches, photos, parties and sightseeing) as parents we tend to dread the airplane or car rides, busy schedules and overtired children.  Can we travel and enjoy vacation with children?  THE ANSWER IS YES!

Ever been mommy-shamed?  Felt judged? Inadequate as a parent? Like you're the only one who doesn't have a child who eats well? Or sleeps well?  That as if your child's difficulties are caused by your short comings or failure to figure out what your child needs?  Then today's post is for you! 

Over the years, I've learned that teaching babies is about so much more than just "sleep" for baby. Now don't get me wrong, sleep for baby's health and overall happiness and well-being is the absolute most important reason that parents decide to embark on a journey like this.  But do you about all of the other benefits? I'm happy to share with you some of the best benefits I've discovered with my clients through the years!

You may have heard of the 2-3-4 sleep schedule.  It's a recommendation that some babies may do best with awake windows that vary throughout the day, starting with 2 hours in the morning and progressing as the day goes on.  Have you considered this?  When might it work?  Today I'll share my thoughts on this controversial subject!
